"Lauren Bacall"
I made this as a prototype for another table in Rosewood as I could not replace this timber if I made a mistake. When it was finished and this blonde bombshell was going off to a gallery the gallery owner called asking what was the name of this piece " What shall we call her" I yelled to a dumb struck, workshop "Lauren Bacall" came the reply. For immediate delivery anywhere in the world £5,000 ($7,500)

The Cassabois Dining Room
A special commission of a dining table and eight chairs in English walnut. This tree grew outside the farm that my client grew up on that is until eight years ago when it came down in the gales. This shows the initial sketch design.

The Cassabois Dining Furniture.
This shows the table and chairs looking remarkably like the drawing just after delivery. This shows the curves of the male and female chairs alternating around the table.

The Cassabois dining chairs.
These chairs were designed to have a particular affinity to the timber they were made from. To be "woody" but sophisticated, to be country and delicate at the same time.
