hi-fi Cabinet
(In Brown Oak)
Made in 1985 to house a hi-fi for a couple with an old cottage and a young family. The style compliments the cottage and the Sussex latch on the doors kept the children away from the electrical equipment.

The Clematis Dining Table.
Made in solid Ripple Sycamore and Maple on a Maple pedestal with a polished glass centre section. This table was inspired by the large white flowers of the Clematis HenryII. It was originally made in 1987 and I have since made two or three similar versions in different woods. For a table of this kind of complexity allow £6000- £8000 ($9000 -$12,000)

Love Chairs
These were the original Love Chairs made in 1993 for my own Wedding. The concept was that here were two chairs that could each have their own identity, could sit in different rooms and be perfectly happy but would come together to create a third identity, a relationship. They caused quite a stir in my local village church.

Love Chairs number 2.
These were made in 1998 for a client’s 10th Wedding Anniversary. She described her husband as stable and grounded and she was more erratic and flighty. When she said this she threw her left arm up into the air which gave me the image of two chairs dancing the tango.
