Heizaburo Heizaburo, a retired dentist from Japan, is a man who can handle a challenge. To join us for a year he first had to learn English, then move home halfway across the world, then once here he designed and made this complex and curvy stool. The construction is plywood stacked up then carved and veneered with sycamore. An extra ordinary piece and one that Heizaburo shoud be very proud of. |
Rob Davies This is a great chair by Rob Davies. Beautifully simple in concept this is a chair that could be replicated on a CNC machine and assembled quickly. It is designed for use in public places such as shopping malls galleries and theatres. Very difficult to design a simple chair like this. |
Dave Young
A simple but beautiful solid wood chair. This one is made in English oak with a laminated and shaped crest rail. It is one of the most attractive chairs I've seen a student make in a very long time. |
