Woodworking short course

Woodworking short course

There is a lot to be said for taking a bit of time out. Be it a weekend to reflect, a week to dig deeper, or three months to completely submerse yourself in something new. This is why we run our woodworking short course programme at Rowden.

And there are plenty to choose from. Tool sharpening, box making, chair making, three month and six month intensive courses. There really is something to suit everyone, whatever your skill level or interest. We provide all the tools, so all you need to do is bring yourself, and a whole heap of enthusiasm.

Small but perfectly formed

Classes are small and personal, allowing for plenty of one-on-one tuition time. Class levels – basic, intermediate or advanced – are designed to fit around each student’s individual level of skill and expertise. You will also get the chance to work alongside the students on our intensive one-year course, which is hugely beneficial.

And, best of all, you get to spend as little or as long as you want in the heart of the beautiful North Devon countryside.

Take a look at our website and see what’s available. But we do get booked up so be sure to drop us a line and check availability. Go on, this could be the beginning of the rest of your life. It was for me.

Until next time,

Lakshmi
