dimblebies and wiggly cabinets

The subject for this weeks series of Dimblebies.. Sorry, whats a Dimblebie? Named after a series of lectures commemorating the famous British journalist a Dimblebie is a small workshop lecture. We try to keep these to fifteen minutes only and tend to have them to coincide with the mid morning tea or coffee break, dont waste precious bench time.
is Drawer Making. Fitting boxes inside other boxes but with a similar precision to that of a BMW piston sliding in a cylinder. We can take precision to anal proportions in this business but with drawers as with a few other things size really does matter.
Other things going on : A sideboard in sycamore is having its wiggles drawn on: I dont need this for a week. Daren said to me, he usually stands over me with folded arms, looking capable and expensive. Come on Designer, you are holding up the real work around here. Ive got a bonus to make so dont go fiddling about changing anything

There’s some wonderful stuff on this site, wish i could afford some of it,
but should’nt that be “Dimbleby” as in Jonathan Dimbleby ??
